How do we combine it?
In order to appreciate the full flavour and
aromas of Teruel ham, it is best to taste it
alone or with a little bread and a sprinkle of
Extra Virgen Olive Oil, Red wines, aged or not
and slightly aged dry white wines with not
too much acidity are good accompaniment.
In any case, the most highly expert recog-
nise that the best combination is with “fino”
and “manzanilla”. The finos contribute aromas
which very well accompany the ham in the
mouth due to their mildness, their slightly salty
nuance and their low level of acidity. In ad-
dition, the bitter touch of the exit of the finos
combines perfectly with another bitter nuan-
ce provided by the evolved fats of the ham.
Beer not only combines excellently with acids,

fiery food and very spicy dishes, but also with
Teruel ham and all the range of sausages
and smoked meat.
