the Lake of Gallocanta is the main tou-
ristic point in the area. However, the most
spectacular event is when a multitude of
birds involving more than 250 species
meet at the lake in order to rest during
their migrations or in order to spend the
winter there. Outstanding among these
are the cranes as almost 90% of the cra-
ne population of Western Europe roam DISCOVER TERUEL
the area, transforming it into a magical
place full of life.
